I have a 385 fastburn and want to add a little hp to it without changing camshaft. I have been thinking about adding 1.6 roller rocker arms to it. The new fastburn heads have the beehive springs and was wondering if i should add these also? Which rockers would you buy? aluminum or steel Gm or aftermarket. Motor is in a 1972 nova 700r4 used for weekend cruising.

The 1.6 rockers should be could for a few hp. Are you sure you have enough piston to valve clearance to use them? I always ran aftermarket. The GM are probably OK, however I never used them.

Hi there,
If you have room you could try the 400 circle track manifold in GMPP>
