What year does this look like? Its a flat bed, was it made like that? Can I convert to a bed? Im not at the house that it is located at, all I have is pictures. Also can you tell me about the engine? It has a carb that looks like half a circle.

Can't see the bed in the pics. That body style was made from '73-'87 and without a better view it'll be hard to tell exactly what year it is unless someone knows all the little changes between model years for all those model years. My guess is late-'70s. The engine is a small block Chevy and without more information is hard to tell exactly what size. You should be able to convert it to a regular bed as long as the frame wasn't overly modified/damaged with the flatbed conversion.

Thats a 73 through 80 model. Sixth digit in the VIN number indicates model year. You can probably put a bed on it but it may have been sold as a "cab and chassis" originally. No way to tell from that pic.
