I have an 05 Chevy impala ss that is loosing antifreeze but I don't smell it or see it leaking any where. Put cardboard under it and it stayed dry and floormats are dry. Oil looks good not milky. Need some help on this one please.

I have an 05 impala with the 3.4. At 60, 000 miles I had the same problem. I was hoping it was the intake gaskets as I had heard those had issues but mine was head gaskets and it had never been overheated. Anyway I replaced all the gaskets with felpro and milled the heads and its been good since. Now has 72k on it.
Just so happened I had a State Inspection early June. I have a 2006 Impala with a 3.9,with 103,000 miles. I loose a little coolant only in the winter months. (NO PROBLEM IN THE SUMMER MONTHS)Just started this passed winter, If the engine idles in traffic (Winter Months Only) the heater blows cold air. As soon as the engine comes off idle the heater will put out Warm/Hot air. The Dealer just told me that there is a hose that runs from the top of the radiator Passenger side R/Hand side sitting in the passengers seat.. He told me it's a common problem, I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM? Don't use any stop leak for example because the gaskets are located high in the engine compartment on the 3.9. I do every so often in the winter get a coolant smell. Just so happens the Cabin Air filter is on that same side.... There are (two gaskets that need replacing). I don't see coolant. I just top the coolant when the heater blows I very little coolant use any coolant in the summer. He sugessed replacing them before winter, and a coolant flush and change. I would run it by a GM dealer and see what he tells you. It's common on the 2006 Impala with the 3.9 I also have a 2006 Impala SS with the 5.3 with 16,000 miles and I don't have any problems with any coolant loss. Good Luck, and if the gaskets are the problem it sounds like a easy fix.Bob
I bet that ss is pretty sweet.
