I have a 85 camaro with a 305tpi I built a 350 bored 30 over with flat top pistons each piston has 4 valve reliefs I believe they are silvolite? I took the 305 tpi heads and put them on the 350 and the cam is stock also, so do I have 58 cc heads? and if so what would be my compression ratio now? im getting a chip burned and the guy needs to know this before he burns and can any one give me some tips on this? im just looking for a fast sunday driver
You'll have to post the casting numbers before anybody can say for sure what heads you have.http://www.kb-silvolite.com/calc.php?action=compThis link is to a CR calculator. Notice that several measurements are needed to acurately calculate CR.
CR is going to be between 10.45 and 10.70 if your quench is .042
If I remember right most of the guys think the 305 head is good for a door stopper. I have never used one for any purpose so check with the guys who know about that head.

Hi there, If the heads have 1.84" inlets then have the throats behind the valve seats ported on the exhaust valves as a priority If not then look elsewhere for value. Good luck.
