I just bought a 1974 Nova. While driving it, i noticed that the rear end gets a bit squirrely about 50 mph. Any ideas?

check the bushings in the rear springs I guarantee they need replacing check the rear Shackles also check the Alignment check the Shocks and check the U bolts that secure the rear to the Springs for looseness get it off the ground to make it easyier

This might sound stupid but also check the air pressure in the tires. Some tires don't look low until they are down to 10-12psi, they'll ride fine until you've got some speed.
