i spend some time and looked at some of the parts catalogs over at gmpartswiki... but it looks like the 73 to 75 x body seat tracks are the same.. but i could not find any reference to the earlier versions..
do you have several of the various suppliers nova parts catalogs???
classic industries.. or OPGI.. year one... 68 to 72 models should be alike.. and 73 up is different as i recall... as there is a difference in the subframes ...
in the 2010 dynacorn catalog i have it shows seat frames from 68 to 72...

Yep 70 and 72 should be the same seat-wise, belts may be different. Original bucket seat cars usually have brackets of some sort welded to the floor from the factory. The seat risers should be the same if they are from an X-body but I am no expert. I wanted to say that the seats did sit awfully high on those cars, so if it just seems a little high that may be correct. Just not a lot of headroom to begin with.
