I am building a 383 sbc with lunati retro roller Cam and lifters, Jegs self Aligning Roller Rockers, and vortec heads. I have a comp cams 7702 pushrod checker and tried to determine my pushrod length. I calculated 7.1" last night and I am wondering if this seems to be an odd size as most retro rollers are stating it should be 7.3"?

That is a good thread and explains nicely how to set up your pushrod length.

That's how I got the 7.1" reading in the first place. So it should be good to go. I just wondered why my length was different than most and who makes a 7.1" rod.
