I need help choosing a set of valve springs for my 350. I just brought a Lunati Voodoo (HR)268 cam and lifter kit (Part Nember Lunati 10120703LK). It currently has vortec heads. What springs do I need? I'm not trying to go over budget on this one I just would like something that will work good with my setup.

i would call lunati and ask for theyre spring recommendation.

are your vortec heads set-up to handle that much lift?   in stock fashion, the max lift is only about .450.

  welcome to CHP.

Kirby2007:

You have a cam with .227/233 dur. and .489/504. Make sure you have enough clearance between the bottom of the retainer and the valve seal or valve guide. You need a min. of .060 clearance between them. If not they will need to be machined for the clearance.
Make sure your Valve Spring pockets are large enough. Just measure the O.D. of your old valve spring. If you don't have an old spring measure the diameter of the pocket on the head....Good Luck...
Plus your cam needs a valve spring that may require you have the the valve spring pockets made larger.
I did find a set on Jeg's web-site they may fit. They are:

PAC Racing Springs. P/N 278-1200-16. O.D. 1.244 Good to a lift of .550 Their cost is $160.00....
