I have a rochester quadrajet on my SBC with the number: 29224 QB 1719. Does anyone know what it came off of or what the heck I got.

Should be a 7 or 8 digit number on the left side, horizontally just behind the throttle linkage.
something like this 702xxxx 703xxxx 704xxxx 1705xxxx 1708xxxx

Scotts got you covered on those P/N. If it is a newer carb by newer I mean from the 1981 and up look for the 4MV 7028217 a number like that..Until then you are dead in the water. My carb numbers go back to 1968...
Note: From 1981 and up the Qjets were feeback carbs. Look on the one you have and see if it has any wires or a plug in the front center. That will indicate a feedback carb...Good Luck...

It is a 4BBL Qjet is that correct. Rochcester also made a 2BBL.
Maybe you can tell us what you are driving. If the carb was replaced it had to be replaced with something from around the same year as your car.
