did anybody see a camaro convertible and find its really a sebring?

i always wondered... if the sebring was actually the front wheel drive camaro... since there was so much hubbub about not going to a front wheel drive platform for the camaro.. and the design and tooling was already done... but then they had to stick with the REAR wheel drive format.. that GM sold the tooling to chrysler for them to modify slightly into their convertible sebring production car..
when ever i see on from the back.. i say.. wow .. what a great looking camaro.. then i get to the front and its a sebring.. doh!!!
i have not had both the sedan and convertible in do compare them..

You never know what goes on behind the scenes at the OE level. Platforms are bought and sold, and those do look similar from behind. All I know is the hoods are fiberglass and the replacement ones are a pain to paint!

Would you belive UGLY from All Angles,they should have stayed with the Holden/GTO, I even like the G8,
