i picked up a pair for a good price. 227cc pro1 full cnc heads just wanted to find out if someone has a pair in use,what do u gays think???????thanks for any input gays

Its a pretty good head on the right combo. But...it takes either a big cube small block or big rpm's to do their thing.
I wouldnt put them on less than a 406. At the very least, Id want the larger 400 hore to be able to work with the big intake valve in those heads.
They could be a lot of fun on a 421 inch street motor spinning about 6800 or so.
On a 355 or 383 you'd have to rpm it hard to use the port well.

What's the rpm range I would wanna run in with a 355

Hi there, They would be a dead loss on the 355 unless you want a mid range torque motor with a small 250* cam and even then the use would ne only good for touring. Swap the heads or the block..Your choice.

Those runners are too big for a 355 CI engine unless you will be turning it up pretty high in the rpm range.IMO.
