Iam ready to start the TOP END and just wondering 64cc HEADS or 72cc ? My block has a stock deck height 9.025 and my pistons are SPEED PRO H860 CP 30, -5cc. I do plan on buying new aluminum heads in March but I want to stay under 10.5 compression ratio. Scat Nodular Crank, Scat 4340 Ibeam Rods 5.7 and a Howards 488/508 CAM Hydralic flat tappet. The cars a 1986 monte SS with 200r4 trans and 10 bolt pos. with 3.73 also a 2600 stahl converter. Any Good input would deffinitley be appreaciated, THANKS CHP ! So do I go for the 64cc with higher compression or go with the 72cc heads and play it on the safer side? Please help with your two cents.  Thanks 383Kelly

Hi there,
AFR or TFS 195s will do you fine.
Check valves etc..You won't go wrong with the USA Quality product..
If you keep the deck Height at about 15/1000" the 64cc heads should be O.K.
If in Doubt use a set of thicker head gaskets...
All the best with the project...Skyeking

With the 64CC heads you will be around 10.5:1SCR and with the 72CC heads you will be around 9.7:1SCR.
