I have a set of 1971 487X casting heads... These heads have screw-in studs, double valve springs, and push rod guide plates... I have read where GM (factory) installed guide plates and screw-in studs on the LT-1 engine. The guide plates I have are labeled "Manley"...Does anyone know if these could be plates that GM installed? Also, it has Competition Cams "Magnum Roller Rockers", which are actually roller tipped and not full roller. Although I doubt theses are factory installed, perhaps someone could shed some additional light on the subject. Thanks all...

3973487X are 75CC cylinder heads. They were installed on 71-72 350. There is nothing in the way of a HI-PO head or being used on LT-1 engines. Someone did alot of work to them. Be careful they maybe angle milled to bring up the compression. That's what I have on them.... Thanks Bob
