Hole left in steering column by conversion to floor shift.

I have a 1970 Nova that was originally a 3-speed column shift. It was converted to a 4-speed which left a hole in the steering column where the original shift lever was. Is there a way to rotate the section of the column so the hole is at the bottom of the steering column ?
