I took my glass into a auto glass shop when I lived in CA to get new glass installed. Now that I am in Texas the glass is too wide and will not fit in my door. I was wondering if someone could measure the glass on their 58 Chevy 2 door so I make sure I get the correct cut this time. If it is possible to cut the glass.
Thanks for the help.

Theres a 58 sedan delivery where I work,is that the same glass? Can I measure it with the glass in but door panel off? Just a front-to-rear length, right?

I think it may be the same if you would measure it that would be great. It will at least give me a good idea.
Thanks,

No prob. I think we're in luck, I can probably measure the glass tomorrow and it is not installed in the door so that will help. Hang in there, its a busy week.

This look like the right kind of door? Just so we are on the same page.

Twenty five and five eighths inches, front to rear. The bottom front corner is slightly angled. However I am not certain that the windows have been test fitted in the car yet.
