I have a question, I am re finishing a top for a 1969 Blazer, the price was right but some knucklehead painted it with latex house paint sometime in the past. The paint is coming off ok with stripper but there are some repairs I need to make to the top. It apparently had some kind of roof rack and the previous owner removed it and patched the holes. I have been told it is not fiberglass but some kind of sheet molded compound. what do I use to repair it? Any special techniques?

This is good stuff, works on fiberglass (FRP) or sheet molded compound (SMC). Plain fiberglass works, too.
