1981 Chevy Monza what trany is it?

I have a 1981 Chevy Monza in line 4 -- 4 speed and I would like to know what kind of tranny I have and Im thinking about maybe changing motors.. Do they make an adapter plate to go from my chevy tranny to something else????

Welcome to the forum.,. the 4 speed is a Saginaw, same as in the pic

there is v-8 kits for monza and lots to check out the problem is how much do ya care to spend on the swap out-- and what do ya want out of the car.

Try Lakewood or Trans-dapt for adapters.

Oh yea,build up a pontiac 4-cyl.Iron Duke, Make 250hp N/A and Scary power with blowers and turbo's.
