i got me a 327 chevy engine block casting # 3858180 327 64-67S mall Journal 2 bolt main head casting # 3774684 327 62-67
its a mostly complete long block, intake, waterpump, carb, dist, no starter. i was going to use it in my street rod project, i was told it was a "Marine 283" but the casting number prove that wrong. it was last run about 8 years ago. i pulled the plugs and she spins freely, and its thill got oil in her. some carbon on the pistons. is also says MERCURY MARINE in the valve covers and 225 Hp thats about all i can think of.
so is this a valuable engine? im going to sell it but i have no clue as to how much?
thanks , wayne

100-200 dollars but if you find that person that is looking for a small journal 327 then it will be worth more.
