a good day for 'junk

The "junkman" set foot in his new digs today. Woohoo! No more fixing wrecks. Hope the frame machines miss me. Going to work for a car dealing friend with four "shops" and WAY too many unrestored Chevys. He was asking me about nitrous for his '10 RS/SS2 also today. Corvette fan too, I know of 3 he has.
First gig is a '70 Chevy short wide. Been a long time since I swung a paint gun and a buffer but I'm taking this one all the way from bare steel. Got some rust repairs to do and the sheetmetal has mostly been blasted and primed. Just a nice old green truck. Theres probably a half dozen more of those, some GMCs.
Next job behind that looks like a 64 Impala 327 4gear we're gonna do nice. Reckon I'll drop pics here as I go.
Wanted to make sure I'll be able to get to work until payday, so I took the penny jar to the bank. Got my gas money but also one more reason to call it a good day ....
the teller had this supremely firm rack. And it took a long time to count out my money Mmmmm they wiggled with every bill. I gotta get more checks! Or chicks?
Aw well stay tuned, friends. Thanks for all the well wishes during trying times.

A reminder just don't make the spray pattern too wide or it will leave uneven spots and a lot of orange peel.

Overlap is one of the harder things you gotta master. Spoken like a painter I painted full time for two years, luckily.

'bout to go unload and get started- My Elky's springs are gonna say AH. Been holdin my tools for a few days. A truck is a truck is a truck and they all get treated like one, even if they have a fancy name like El Camino.
