What motors will fit in a 77 Nova concours bigger than a 350??

i had a 77 4 door with a 454. couldn't use a hei distributor though. She was a RUST bucket. also had a th400 in it. I didn't install the motor or trans. I tried to put a hei msd distributor on and didn't fit.

Any of them bigger than the 350 will fit.

Having had an earlier 72 Nova with a 488" BB in it. Seems like the engine bay will accept most anything. In some cases custom headers may be needed. Even a tall deck should be no great problem.
Taller intakes may need a hood scoop or a cowl induction hood. If you run a tunnel ram you will need a tall scoop.
