he told me that they were "metco" arms, i don't think they're adjustable and that's why he's not using them... he runs low 6's in the 1/8 with a full interior and a STRONG sbc...stock class...wouldn't believe it if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes...twice
the car is a 71...not a 74 as stated in a previous post

68, the suspension differs between the two chassis. I think, and I could be wrong, that either 72 or 73 was the year that Chevy changed the suspension on the C-bodies

Thanks for trying. Not many people are knowledgeable about these since they are family cars, and not wagons. I'm tryin, since you can find them cheap and in decent shape.

it's funny how a couple of kids will change a guys outlook on project material i've been looking around for something like that or a late 70's to mid-80's B body so the family can ride around...don't really want anything like a mid-90's tahoe or suburban...every twenty-something in town has one with all the ghe-gahs that go with them...monster wheels, monster speakers, monster fuel consumption, monster annoyance

Family has a way of doing that. The Caprice is def gonna be big enough for the whole family. Thats why I want it safe as well as functional
