The crank from the 305 will not work in the 350. Even thou they have the same rod and main bearing sizes, and the same stroke, they are balenced differently. I tried this in one of my motors (tring to be cheap and use parts I had laying around), It ran but had a bad vibration, and chewed thru a new set of main bearings in 2 months!

Hi people,
To cut a very long story short  I would save the camshaft,
Heads and have a look at the timing gears etc as they may still be re-usable
condition.. Many 305 and 350s in the early days shared the same camshaft which
was the 214/224* 442/465" which was in dire need of about 4* more advance if
you wanted a good lift from standing. If you can sell the block for scrap then
do so as a favour to yourself. The Spare camshaft should be able for another
and better profile like a 221/221*--465/465 which is tunable and gives very
good all round performance with any 600/650 carby of your choice.12-36 timing
  works O.K. too....
Best of luck with the project....Skyeking.....
