My guess on motor was about 1100. There was the capability to add about another 900 with the juice but the car would have none of that. We tried a 400 shot once and the car went nuts. Just blew the 17x33.5 tires away and wanted to do donuts.
The funny thing about the night we ran the big shot is we won the event running motor only. Everybody we ran against either crossed the center line or blew up.
In the final the guy put a hole in the side of his block big enough to put your head in and that was done during the burnout. He was a real idiot who never let up no matter how out of shape he got and I did not like to run him. He of course eventually wrecked his car at another track.

I was always pretty serious but never scared when I drove the car. I get more nervous playing pool.
The car left like it was hit by a bus, 1.07 60', but you get used to it.
The only time it felt violently quick was when it experienced tire shake. Then it feels like your head is about to get ripped off and your teeth might not make it thru this pass.
All in all it was a great experience and I enjoyed it a great deal.
The 68 Camaro I recently had was a mid 8 second 1/4 mile car and it was slow compared to the Beretta.
Sorry for taking over this thread but I was asked a lot of questions.

Never had that trouble unless there was tire shake, then you can't see much.
I came in 4th in the points race that year, won 2, runner up twice, and never went out before the semis.
