I just found a great website showing all the specs for Chevy's. I am sure you all know it, but in case you don't, it is Chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/chevyresto/index.htm  It covers cars from 1937-1960. Anyway, I swapped out the straight 6 for a V8 in my 1954 210 project car. I was stumped forever regarding what car had a rear end that would fit. The specs show the original gear ratio is 3.70:1. With that ratio, is it ok to keep the rear end with the V8? Also, do I need to upgrade the suspension or just rebuilt it. Thank you for you help.
