The 1970 camaro
Horsepower sells Engines and torque wins races.

I'm partial to the 4th gen, just because it was what was around when I was coming of age. I had a 6 speed LT1 Formula, and My buddy had a 96 cobra...We had fun, and I ate his lunch regularly...The good old days... Then he got a 98 ss 6 speed LS1 car. If you haven't ever driven one do yourself a favor and get behind the wheel of a 4 gen F body.

dammit! you make me sad =( i can't say i'm a fan of the 4th gen at best. kinda makes me mad how they look like every other car out there today. i don't really dig the 3rd gen ones either but at least i don't mistake them for anything else

If you owned a 96 Formula the year you graduated from high school (then the car was only 8 months old) you may have a different perspective. I agree they are not the most unique looking cars out there, but when you look at the performance of a 93 camaro against that of a 93 mustang, 92 camaro, or alot of other cars of that era they were like the everymans supercar at the time. Back in the day they were kind of unique with their roundish curves as compared to the fox bodies and 3rd gens.
Either way top each their own... maybe the 5th gen will become my new favorite... 422hp and 408lbft in a 3800lb car w/ a six speed surely sounds like a blast to drive. A mid 14 second street car that likes the curves...

yeah i guess that's true, they're just not one of my personal favs. of course i'd rather see ANY chevy driven around opposed to a ford (esp. the mustangs, i'm sick of seeing them)
man, i'm drooling already

still, they're the best year, whether they got a v-6 or a v-8. quite honestly, i'd rather see 5 of those a day than any of the mustangs...
