Not to much as im 18 and doing this as a project in between finishing college (highschool over there) and uni(college), I have acsess to some funds but a fair chunk of its going to go towards the engine, my half plan was new suspension, and then buy off wrecked new cars the brakes, rear diff, and gearbox ect.

Having said that I am prepeard to spend the money and go buy them new. The power from the eninge is also going to be pretty tame as I only plan on buying one of the first teir turn key assemblys.

to my knowledge aussies have quite the performance parts , my nefu was tellin me about some intake for ls engines that allows for huge cams with really low lsa's or something like that, and it fed air better to each piston.

i have no idea if he was pulling my chain or not but he said it had several throttle bodies.

Hi 91.
Suggest you look at C.R.S.website for early Holden G/box adaptors and other
items and Eagle @ Melbourne/Sydney/ Brisbane for motors that work and have
warranties which many DO NOT..Depending where you live Check out by writing
to the Transport Authorities Engineering codes of this type of project. Also
check with Insurance companies regarding your age etc.,.It is not easy..
I had a 1983 Dunnydoor with 202 blue motor and the crap I was asked to pay
for was unreal and in the end I gave the idea away and I am an older driver
[Class 5] with a good record,] I have seen too many "projects given a RED
ticket with a tow wagon ride ride home..Forget the crap you might hear and
remember that the R>T<A and the like have the last word and you can lose all
if you get it wrong...Proceed with caution and good luck from Skyeking..
