for my car that 1984 corvette i going to put on new heads and with the chip i got
the makers of the chip said i can use any head with 72cc to 76cc combustion chamber
and 170cc intake runners but you can use 165cc or 180cc but not sugested with the cam i have that is 2040 compucam

the heads i found that will work are
world makes an cast S/R torquer heads with 76cc and 170cc
R.H.S makes an cast pro torquer heads 76cc and 170cc
dart makes an iron eagle head thats 72cc with 165cc or 180cc

out of these heads what is the best bet

I would go with the dart 180CC heads.

You need to post all specs on the cam card. Lift and duration only tell part of the story to how a cam will act. Also list any other mods made to engine or car

What gears do you have, are you running a 5 speed or an auto?  What kind of stall?

I would say if you are running a stock set up the 165cc will help your bottom end.  this cam will probably run out of boogy at the top any way.  The 180cc runners won't kill you and will probably make more power up top, but I am assuming this engine will be primarily street driven where the bottom end counts.  This cam will like a little steeper than stock gears.

Are you running the stock TPI? Then run the smaller head. Look at the flow numbers too, get a head in that 165cc range that flows the most at your cam's max lift.
