What is everyones opinion of the Chevy 305

when we have to start playing road warrior then i'll consider building a 305...but i have a small stash of good 350's

agreed. my 86 monte carlo ss came stock with the L69 H.O. 305. my buddie had a late 80s irocz with the tunedport injection on it. he put countless hours and $ in the 305 and i built a mild 350 for about 2 grand and he didnt have half of what i did. they were good in the caprices and hoopties but thats about it.
