I am trying to buy a new HHR SS in the panel body. I have read in the trades that this will be available soon, but I can't get an answer when. I go to chevrolet.com and I can only get marketing people who tell me that it is not available. I know I can get an SS with the quarter window delete, but can't get the panel rear doors. If this was available I would buy it now, but I can't get info when it will be available. Does anyone have any reliable info to help me? I have driven an HHR SS in the window body, and it is a fun ride. The turbo ecotec is very responsive. How do you get to the HHR division without getting marketing people so i can get info on future products?

If you want a full panel HHR any body shop can mod the car for you, I think they will.

I was very disappointed after racing to the dealer, I found out it was front wheel drive. I like that look... I was already figuring what SBC to put in it..

So did you get one? Or did the FWD kill it for you.

Took a ride in one and being a truck owner myself I can say that was no real truck. Even a Tocoma had more umph.

I drive the HHR panel as my company vehicle. It has the 2.4 and I am pleased with the performance. I think the little DOHC cross flow hemi hauls the mail.

Until you showed me that photo I was thinking of the SSR but reading HHR. Total brain fart, I take back my bashing on the HHR now that I am thinking clearly. Just don't make the mistake of getting one of these and your set.
