So that means we come here to talk about the weather in the North East? Or how long the resto on my Elk is taking after being vandalized? Or how about the "Hat" Roooster plans on wearing when his Elk is done? That'd be interesting.

Sorry Sean, couldn't resist. Ok, I'm done now....

Thanks for the new section MPayne, might turn out interesting....

No rain here for the present but we have had our share for a change. The only thing messing up my plans is being on call for work this weekend, can't do much or the phone will ring. Just how large are you getting, friend? We all tend to get a little bigger with time, but if you are going the Chris Farley route, we need to step in. Or could this be that you have come over to the Big Block side, in that case, congratulations. Just having fun, a first name would be good though.

69 nova 355, we all feel Marks pain. In case you have not seen the pic's, they are on elcaminocentral.com. A truly senseless attack. Not sure that it warrants their death but seeing them pay for the repairs and some jail time would be sweet.
By the way, go see "Law Abiding Citizen" I think you will enjoy, I did.

Powerlifting for years will make you big. LOL Shrinking now due to severe arthritis. Was 5'9" at 215lbs at 12%bf. Now I'm working on being normal. Icecream beats the hell out of tuna! Gettn closer to bigblock status, just built a 406 pushing between 450-500hp for my 73 Caprice

Put some hair on his head and a beard and that could be my twin!  The barbell in front of him doesnt have enough weight on it. theres only 495lbs on the bar,add a couple more 45lb plates and a couple 25lb plates on it and that would be close enough for me. lol  The weightbelt has to go as well,it only makes your back weaker. I'm rambling again. I miss being in my physical prime

Dang rain. Just bought a dirtbike that needs work. Remodeling my garage. So now its outside. I was pumped to get workin on it so i could ride it before snow falls here in iowa. Not gonna happen. Also shut the juice off to the garage to run some new wires and my girlfriend needed to do laundry so she flipped the breaker back on. Got zapped. My air compressor also took a crap today. Not a good day.

Thanks Jim and 69Nova. Yeah, I parked the Elk at a local Advanced Auto Parts to run in and get a tire compressor. Came out a few minutes later and found they had stoned my Elk. Ended up with 14 dents and busted windshield etc. So it's been in "paint jail" all summer. Looks like I'll get it back just in time to put it away for the winter. Never made a single show, only drove it a total of 30 minutes this year.

While I don't know about "dancing in blood" Nova, (I could slip and fall) I sure wish I'd caught them. I'm sure I would have come up with something. Amazes me how mindless these idiots can be. The lesson has been learn't, never, ever, ever, leave a showcar unattended, not for a minute, not for a second.

Sorry for the lengthy reply, and I'll stop now before I really go into a rant.

Wow, that's almost unbelievable that there are minds out there with the capacity to even think about randomly doing something like that; never heard of it. What have we done to the people on this planet that you can't even park your ride for couple of minutes without stressing out about it's welfare?  Don't think I could have held myself back from going on a mission to hang someone for attempted murder of an Elk.  That story churns my stomach.  Apologies too, but ranting is all that's left in some situations.

Marks72 where do you live? I wanna make sure I dont visit that advance auto store! lol  Thats a very hard way to learn a lesson. Thats one of the biggest downsides to having something nice. Somebody is gonna feel the need to mess with it. If it'll help you can ship it to me we dont have that problem in GA at least not yet. I can send you pics of it if you start missing it.  Thought a little humor might help ya. Jon
