I have a 604" with a glide in my sand car. The motor is a tall deck bowtie 15 to 1 compression. I have custom edelbrock heads that flowed at 374 cfm. I don't have my cam card handy right now but off the top of my head is about 790 intake and 760exhaust at 50. Duration is 310/300 The rotating assembly is Crower, BME, JE custom. The heads are 118 cc. The Hogan sheetmetal intake, heads and custom duel 1250 dominators were flowed by the carb shop to with in 2%. I have crank trigger, 7AL-3 Ignition, custom made / tuned headers and magna fuel system, jesel cam belt system. I run this motor on C-16 with no nitrous. This motor runs very strong and usually wins in my class. My car weighs 1500 lbs wet...... it is a wild ride for 100 yards.

I would like to know estimated horsepower on this sweet piece and would be interested in bigger cube parts and or tech info.

Thanks and take care,

Gear ratio is 514; tire size is 33X17X15 paddles. Best Et is 3.53 @ 104 mph on race gas only. 60 ft average 1.33 seconds.

I know this engine is making at least 1200 horses.

I don't have the desk top dyno which is fairly accurate.

Thanks,

Fastdad

Upon further review, I plugged some numbers and am coming up around 1291 HP.  You have a bit more than that.  That is one sick nasty mutha!!!

Thanks for your responce........ this motor is a beautiful piece and the ride is extreme.... I have the 4 link with wishbone center alignment. I also have the antisway bars and so this car runs perfect and consistant every time...all I do is hold the pedel down and steer this monster......I have ran alot of stuff on asphalt and have found the sand drags is the quickest show with the wildest ride in a safe fashion
Thanks and take care,

Since I have some experience with big inch BB Chevys I can give you a rough idea.
Here is a shot of a Beretta I had. It had a 632" all aluminum BB with sheet metal intake and 2 dominators. The heads were Big Chiefs with Titanium valves all around, and it trapped 135 in the 1/8th, with a 1.12 60' on motor only. These heads flowed 440 on the intake side and the cam was in the .800 range.
Still I don't think it made 1200hp, my estimate would be more in the 1100 range.
My guess for your motor would be around 1000.
More recently I had a 68 Camaro with a 632 Big M with ported Edelbrock Victor 370 heads, full roller etc. Single King Demon. It trapped about 118 in the 1/8th and my estimate was about 800-850 NA for that one. It rear wheel dyno'd at 606 and since there is a huge loss with a loose converter the HP est should be reasonable.

I'm sorry, if I owned somethin' that badass, it would have to go on the dyno so I could stop guessing.

I wonder what time that could make on a 1/4 run.

sometimes life gets in the way, and then their are divorces that take presidence..It cost me, but I got rid of her... now have a much better classic model with all original parts and in excellent condition..........I take her out for a ride several times every night and she runs great on low octane... WOW..imagine that...... go figure...
