Everything is going accoring to plan but as I'm looking at the wiring in the engine of my 1992 Camaro RS 3.1L I see that I can try and leave the engine wiring in my purple 92 3.1L strip the 84 2.8L of all the pulleys, wires, sensors, etc. and put all the sensors, pulleys, wires, etc off the 3.1 onto the 2.8 Will this work? Don't know much about cars just a 20 year old kid trying to fix his camaro.

Sounds like a mess. Prolly just need to trace wires and rewire it. I put a fuel injected lt1 out of a 94 Z28 in an 86 camaro rs before which originally had a 3.1. Had to actually strip the complete wiring harness from the car(computer and all sensors as well) and put it in the 86. Not happening again. No way. Your application should be easier though. Just try rewiring it.

So I should hook the wiring harness and accesories off the 3.1 onto the 2.8? Will it be back to a 3.1 or no?

You will prolly have to change out your computer. Depeding on what you have for carb or fuel injection. Which would also mean you might want to swap out harness. try swapping out the computer and using your wires. It might work but no gaurentees. There are alot of variables to consider like ignition styles(electronic or hei), your sensors(should be able to use originals wires for those at least, if the 3.1 has fuel injection and your 2.8 has a throttle body. If youre 3.1 has fuel injection you'll need the matching computer. You might be able to find a throttle body intake for your 3.1 as well.

There both F.I. Im hoping to be able to leave computer & wiring harness in my 92 and stripping the 84 engine of all the accessories, etc. and putting all sensors, mounts, pretty much everything onto the 92 and hooking up the wiring harness to all the sensors

Sensors should all work with the harness. As well as most all connections.
