im looking to get a posi locker setup for my 10 bolt in my 74 el camino (350, th350 with heads, cam, headers, intake and carb) i will be changing out the ring and pinion to probably 3.70's or around there, could someone give me a link to a good unit that is cheap and reliable or one that would be best for my setup thanks

A "shorter" gear will help the car accelerate but your fuel mileage will suffer. GM's Positraction is a Limited Slip carrier. Changing to a Limited Slip or a Locker type of carrier will help a great deal with traction, but that is not all that is required to get the car to hook.
