My 400 turbo tranny started slipping today and..

I live in Indiana bout an hour south of Indy. And its got almost 120,000 miles on it. I didnt get a chance to change it I didnt have the money this weekend but this truck is my daily driver. So i need to get it fixed.

Do the basic fliud and filter change first and let us know how it does

well i still havent changed it but i quit slipping and its working fine right now. I think there is just some crap inside there pluggin it up and stuff.

I wouldnt wait to long to change filter,fluid and modulator. You may add some life to it but if you wait the end may be near.

Been there! Best advice I can give is to keep driving to a minimal until you can do the work on the trans.

yea. its gonna cost like 60 bucks for everything. Fluid, modulator, filter, etc.

gettinlarge-i have a 89 chevy c1500 2wd and i was wondering how hard is it to put 373 gears and possitive traction in the rearend. i see u live in ga. me too. im near savannah
