Hello I just put a new rearend into my 86 El Camino. It is a 8.5 rearend out of a Grand National. It has a Brand new 30 spinal posi and it never been driven yet. I was wondering what would be the best way to break it in?
thanks
Brad

i woulnt say i abuse mine but from the first day i got it out of the shop i was spinning my tires from a stop and from 30mph rolling starts and havent hurt it yet.so while i wouldnt power brake it for 30 sec solid i would still drive it on the street like it was new or not aint gonna hurt it.the guy who built mine is the most respected trans and gear man in flint and when he pulled it out of the garage the first time he took off down the street barking the tires in all 3 gears
