Thanks. That makes since about the location, I'm in Georgia.

Heads up on the plaque company: They sounded fishy to me, so I didn't give them any info. They called my house, knew my address and knew all about the article. I looked them up later and found this.

I know the guy that got the slickest ride award.  Brandon is a good dude and was stoked about being in the mag.  His car turned out really good.  I am the guy that painted it and was a little torn when we first got it sprayed cause the color was a little different but once we got the carbon fiber hood and flat black coys on there it made the car pop.  A guy named Sam Hunter took the photo and it looks sweet.  Congrats to all the guys that made it in.  I hope to have my 70 Monte Carlo or My 73 pro-touring tubbed split bumper in there when it is done. We will see next spring.

Grats to all you who made it. Like I said before I'll get this up asap. I just have to get up the stories on the last page under "This Month" first. I think young guns was cut to save pages. I maybe wrong, but maybe once this economy turns around that and other columns might return.

I blame the education system. I graduated HS 10 years ago and there was no auto shop then. My brother and sister are both in HS now and still no auto shop offered. It should be a requirement because younger people now a days are just dumb when it comes to automobiles. I remember talking to one of my buddy's about his car and said "glad it wasn't your rotors that were bad" and his response was "what is a rotor?". I don't remember why were talking rotors but still. I just know the auto shops love him. I'm not guru but wow I giggled inside on that comment.

I think home economics need to be shut down, not auto shop. If you want to learn how to fry an egg ask your mom to teach you or have the fire department on stand by when you start a grease fire.
