Same problems with the computer that controls it. If your'e really serious look at the aftermarket, Edelbrock, Holley or F.A.S.T. They are engineered for a project like yours. There is also www.affordable-fuel-injection.com. They put together packages for projects.

yes TBI is easier, there are many kits available on the aftermarket:

Check these links you can buy a kit that will replace the intake and carb that comes with everything you need to make it work including computer and wiring.
