Yes,Delo has more anti-wear additives than regular engine oil. What type of engine did you build?

ive got a 383 with aluminum fastburn heads and hydraulic flat tappet.after break-in i have been running a regular 10w-40 with a zddp additive but have been hearing alot about the delo 400.do you still have to use the zddp or does it already have enough?

I always put in the additive as well. With the higher spring loads,aggresive cam lobes and the abuse it'll be put thru in general I see no reason to push my luck.
