I hate to jinx my wifes 04 Cavalier but outside of regular maintenance it has been trouble free for 68K miles. My 95 Camaro I went thru completely at 152K when a head gasket went bad. I rebuilt the engine and replaced every wear part I could think of, including the opti spark ignition system, modifying the motor at that time also. Had the trans and driveshaft redone, and the rear was checked out. Almost 40K on it since with no problems.

Those Cavaliers keep on going. We have a co-worker with one and her's runs like a champ.
