I just bought a 1968 Nova. It has a 454 with a Muncie "rockcrusher" and 411's in the back. I've been doin a little here and there but i got off work today and it looked like my nova took a piss in the parking lot. My flex fan tore the back of my radiator up, so now i want to but a new one but everywhere i look its 67 and 69 nova parts no 68. Im wondering if i can get the dementions of the radiator and get a new one and take off that flex fan and put an electrical fan on. If it will be ok or do i have to find that same one i have. Or can i find one made for supporting my motor. Mildly tuned its a 470 to the wheels. would i have to find one that supports 500hp?

i see that you saw the other post ..... it will take a pair of really powerful electric fans to even try to cool that motors heat output
not impossible... but you may also need to swap in high amp alternator to be able to supply the current to drive the electric fans... along with thicker wiring for the charging system to handle the additional current flow..
oh.. and in case you missed it.. 68 to 71 novas share a lot of parts... a lot of parts from 67 to 69 camaros also work...
i take it that you have a printed copy of the magazine... there are a bunch of suppliers listed in there... many will have downloadable catalogs... that you can download and page through again and again...
