New to forum, and appreciate any advice: I've got an '82 ElCamino running nice beefed small block and Turbo 350. I'd like to convert to stick shift and have a rebuilt BW T-10. Question is: will this work or will the shifter be located too far to the rear and not move due to hitting the bench seat and force me to go to bucket seats?
A related question, is there a better option with transmision choice-would a newer model, 5 speed etc. be a better selection? Appreciate any recomendations and help Thanks
