Sold it for 26K ready to go to the track. It had a Dart big M block with Edelbrock victor 370cfm heads on it. T&D shaft rockers, Titanium intakes and a roller. 14-1 comp., a single King Demon, fogger and a plate on a Dart intake. Full JW glide, Dana 60 rear. It ran very nice NA but I could never get the chassis to handle the juice. Here is a shot of the motor, it ran great from day one and never gave any trouble.

Most of my projects start that way. Its easier to spend money on a project when you dont have anything invested to start with! LOL

I'm working on a 1973 Caprice now. Making a sleeper out of it. Built the 400 should be in the 450hp range and gonna paint the car ProBlack with black wheels. Being in the biz I'm in I will only have bout $2000 in it.

I would have to say I have two favorite years of Camaro, the 69 and the 76. I've always loved the 69 because it's the only one with that exact body style. Maybe similar to the 67 and 68, but I like the way the body lines continue horizontally behind each wheel well. That and the tail lights. I like the 76 because my dad had one when I was a kid 20 some years ago. 350 4bbl with 350 turbo tranny if I remember right.

gettinlarge; Why would he want that motor for a suburban? HE either needs a big block, supercharged 350, or turbo'd 350 for that hulk!

With a 5speed trans, correct gears and the TQ from the 406 I dont see it having any problem moving that brick down the road. Besides he cant build an engine cheaper than me or better!

True, a 5spd in a 'burb would be sick. It would be even sicker with a boosted engine!

Nothing like an 8-71 poking thru the hood of a slammed burb!
