Im looking into buying a nova and in my area I only found one 1974 nova. Im just wondering if there is anything I can do to make a 74 look more like a 72. I know that the bigger bumpers were introduced on the 74 model and the front grille looks a bit different. Can 72 bumpers fit on a 74 and can you use 72 grilles on a 74.
thanks

The bumper brackets are going to be different if it is anything like my Ventura, I swapped parts from a '74 GTO/Ventura (same body as nova) to my 1973, and used parts from a 1972. For the most part things match up, bolt right across, but I know with the bigger looking bumpers the brackets are a bit different. If you search for the right brackets it will be an easy swap.
