If you have ever seen a 4th gen roar down a 1/4 mile you would understand why there so popular.

At this point its the 1969, I know they are very over exposed but they have beautiful lines. I purchased my '69 Z-28 (DZ302) 4 years ago at the barrett-Jackson auction and it is absolutley a dream to drive..31,000 original miles and numbers matching with original paint. I was really hoping the new Camero would more represent the '69 so I could have the original and the "new" 69' remake model...it just didnt happen.

I just looked at the 2010 Camaro. A local dealer has two of them. An SS thats not for sale(the dealers son is getting it or something like that) and a base model. The base model was priced at 30k!!!!!!!!! After the 2k dealer mark-up, for a v6 you have got to be kidding me? I dont care if the v6 has 300 hp, its NOT worth that. The SS model on the other hand was a wonderful looking car, with exception to the rather dull rear end. It seems they sort of followed a little vette styling in the rear, it hopefully will be changed in future models. In either direction the Camaro models didnt seem to fit the prices. 40k for a 426 horse SS seems closer to expectations but 30-34k seems a bit more realistic price range, especially if they want the car to compete with the Mustang and Challenger counterparts. They certainly priced it out of the hands of ALOT of potential buyers.

well, as for it looking like a "new" 69', i think it's as close as they could get the way cars are modeled now. of course, i'd rather spend money on an old camaro, you can't beat em', but i think chevy did a damn good job. and the pricing, if i had the money to chose any car i wanted i'd definitely pick the camaro, i'm glad they brought it back and made it look *** great!!! even though the challengers are sure as hell not bad the camaros are just b/a. hell, hummers that don't even go offroad are hella overpriced, and people buy those, so i'm sure plenty of people won't mind coughing it up for one of these.

i live across the street where they are built here in oshawa.i think gm dropped the ball on this one.they dont do anything for me,and the price tag is a definite turn off.should be interesting to see how sales are next year after gm finishes building the first 18000 this summer.

I think the future of the camero is dim, anytime you bring something back from the dead it just dont workout well..ie.."JASON"..."KUJO"..."PET CEMETARY"...LMAO!!!!

I think GM was banking on the camero being a big hit with the younger crowd who at the time was making big bucks in a booming econemy...it is a big hit with them, but they have lost thier income..BAD TIMING????

I have heard(rumor) the new camero was designed by an 18 yr old from california...anybody know the fact on this???

personally, i'd rather pay for the camaro... *shrug*

haha, nice analogy, and yeah, i have to agree the timing is pretty damn terrible, but still....

if you find that out, let me know!

68 z28 camaro. since there is so much complaining about the price of the "new" camaros, i'm kinda curious how much the new cobra's are and how comparible they are performance wise...something like 420 hp and extra doe for a 475 motor, and they "think it will be below $75000." yeah, i'll wait for the z28 to come out and smoke the crap out of the infamous mustang cobra jet fr500cj.  i can't afford either one, but you all know what i mean.  be true enthusiasts.  being an enthusiast is like being a parent.  sometimes you get colorful pictures from your 4 year old that are slightly shocking at first...but you appreciate it and love it, because it was made for you...now, as they say where i work, sometimes you just need to shut up and color; and right now it's coloring time...
