I recently came across a 1981 Camaro TypeLT with everything except the motor/trans. The car is really solid except for a small hole the rear floor and is worth fixing up. I checked with Jegs and they only offer bolt on subframe connectors up to 1980 Camaros. Does anyone know why 81 is not offered?

The frames didn't change at all from 80-81 so I would assume you are safe to use them. You should use weld in subframe connectors as they won't flex like the bolt in connectors. Over time the bolts will stretch the bolt holes in the connectors so they allow some body flex.
