Idle vacuum should be dependent on overlap, displacement, compression, maybe even total induction volume, and a few other factors...

If your engine isn't making enough vacuum your transmission will most likely be shifting late.

IN YOUR OPINION DO YOU THINK A VACUM CAN WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEM?

Ya a vacuum can should do the trick.
Horsepower sells Engines and torque wins races.

LET ME RUN THIS BY YOU GUYS. MY CAM TECH CLAIMS I SHOULD BE PULLING APPROX. 10-12 INCHES, AND I AM ONLY PULLING APPROX 7-8 INCHES. I NOTICE A LITTLE VALVE NOISE IF I ADJUST MY VALVES DO YOU THINK I WILL PICK UP SOME MORE VACUM?
