I have a 1970 Nova. I am looking to put a crate motor in it. Everything has been done to the nova to get it ready for some serious horsepower. Moser 12 bolt with .373 gears, level 3 700R4 transmission, Globel West A Arms, Hotchkis susp., etc, etc. etc... So now its time to put some muscle in this under powered (307) muscle car. I have looked at Smeading, T&L Engines, The Engine Factory, and a few others. I want to stay with the small block, but want atleast 400+ HP. I am leaning towards The Engine Factory. Not the cheapest but wow what a motor (383 with 500HP). If any one has delt with them or ??? please let me know thanks!!

i see turn key crate on that site 500 hp for $ 9,287.00 , very clean very nice for a show car, but i think u could build your own with equal power for alot cheaper. and yea i would look into blueprint they have a 383 for like 3 grand that has 405 hp and 440 torque , with the rest of the cheese you will be saving u can do nos boost or buy afr heads or tricks and u got urself one mad stroker.
