My 1960 Chev Impala is missing it's front seat, what other seats will fit? I am willing and able to adapt a little if required,I can;t find a 59 or 60 Chev seat locally ,,, I have found a 1963 2 door BelAir, would it fit??  thanks Mel

Hunt around for 59-60 Olds/Buick/Pontiac, a seat from one of those cars should fit (it's probably the exact same seat frame) and have it recovered with '60 Impala seat coverings.
