so this is driving me crazy i need help bad i have an 86 corvette and the service engine light is on i know its all good tho but i dont know how to reset the service engine light i tried disconecting the battery i tried pumping the exceleration 5 time but no luck can anyone help?

You must have some other problem if the service light stays on even after you disconnect then re connect the battery. An OBDI computers memory of the code is supposed to clear when you disconnect the battery for at least 10 seconds
