Thank you for the article on the 12 rides that you can still afford. Too many great cars are thrown to the wayside without knowing their true potential. I am the proud owner of a 1977 Chevy Monza Spyder, one of the pioneers of sport compact tuning. I got mine through a friend who didn't think it'd be a good "family car." I'm currently propping in a '64 327 motor in place of the original 305, before it broke, I had beaten that "built" 5.0 GT, and a "tuned Del Sol that didn't know any better!

Do you know if there's anyone making parts for these? suspensions, body panels, trim, interiors?I see these little speed demons on numerous drag tracks, with completely fiberglass bodies, but there's a shortage in sheet metal and other componentry to keep the cars on the street(like mine!)

A few more sites for these Import killers are http://monza.homestead.com/monza.html, be sure to register your ride in the official H-Body Registry and www.v8monza.com.

Again, thank you for showing the hidden gems in the General's high performance history.
